Asian Heart Institute is the first cardiac hospital that has taken initiative in providing training to 100 drivers and conductors working with Brihanmumbai Electric Supply and Transport (BEST). These staffs are trained in different useful techniques of Cardio-pulmonary resuscitation (CPR), so that they may be able to help any patient suffering with sudden cardiac arrest while travelling in any bus of BEST. The doctors of this hospital had already trained some people in Colaba Bus Depot and want to extend this service to more of the BEST employees for the benefits of the common public.
