Ground breaking research on heart surgery for cardiac patients

Asian Heart Institute conducted a detailed study on beating heart redo bypass surgeries which are performed on cardiac patients. The study comprised 411 patients who were operated with the re-do bypass procedures with the assistance of beating heart technique in the hospital. Beating heart surgery is a way in which surgery is performed while ensuring that the heart beat doesn’t stop.

High proficiency in performing complicated surgeries

The hospital has over the years treated more than 300,000 patients and also completed more than 37,000 angiographies and 21,000 heart risk heart surgeries, with 3,500 inoperable cases. These are major breakthroughs in the domain of cardiac surgery and have helped in saving the lives of numerous patients, who come from different age groups and from different parts of the world. 

These breakthroughs are precedents for medical practitioners and inspire them to achieve to achieve things which are considered impossible. Asian Heart Institute has achieved a success rate of 99.83% in bypass surgeries and a total 99.60% in case of cardiac surgeries. These success rates are considered among some of the highest in the world.
